This is a part of Global Student Solar Ambassador initiative by IIT Bombay to promote #EnergySwaraj to mitigate climate change.
People across 150 countries will cover 150 million km in 150 days to celebrate the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. And on Oct 2nd, more than 1 million student solar ambassadors, across the world, are going to make their own solar lamp.
For every km you walk, Rs 10 will be donated through our sponsors towards a cleaner and brighter future for every child.
This is our first step towards a pledge of non-violence to the environment. It can be yours too.
